Sharp does NOT provide CDL training for new drivers. Drivers must have a valid CDL-A with a minimum of 12 months driving experience, and be at least 23 years of age.

No, Sharp Transit drivers are responsible for loading and offloading. Electric pallet jacks make the job easier, and prior pallet jack experience is preferred but not required.
Comprehensive benefits serve employees’ families as well as CDL-A drivers. Benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K (4% company match), and Legal assistance subscription, STD (100% Employer Funded), LTD, Basic Life (100% Employer Funded) and Voluntary Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, Accident, EAP. After 60 days with Sharp, new hires (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to start benefits on the first of the following month.
After completing three months with Sharp Transit, new CDL-A drivers receive 40 hours of PTO. After a full year, PTO hours renew and increase based on your months of service.
